This instrument carries the serial number 58452 which suggests it was made around 1917. The restoration of this instrument has involved a full re-polishing of the case, soundboard, frame and action and the instrument has been re-strung with the finest German piano-wire, with new German hammers giving an amazingly bright and powerful tone with a remarkably full bass.
