One of the best pianos we’ve had for a many years, and the finest of many Bechsteins we have restored, it’s a long time since we’ve seen a more beautiful grand than this, and we are proud to be able to offer it at only £19,500. The instrument has been painstakingly restored in every detail to the very highest standard, including a complete re-veneering in rosewood with a subtle polyester finish to make the case durable. This Bechstein has undergone a full restoration, with the soundboard and frame in as new condition, new strings and pins in a new pin-block, a complete action overhaul, replacing all hammers and felts, and a beautiful case newly re-veneered in glowing rosewood polyester. It has a rich and sumptuous tone and will provide many years of fine music-making.
